As I've gotten older, I've realized that the happiest memories I have are the brightest colored ones.
The ones with larger-than-life expressions caught on film
Moments when the whole family is together.
And other times when one special person gets to be the focus.
The quiet moments amid the chaos
And the rumpled, wind-blown and sea-soaked moments that, at home, we'd be told to wash off.
but in the midst of a really good memory-in-the-making--
-- at the moment that a fantastic memory-- a beautiful mental picture is about to be made--
I hope I have the good sense to put down my camera and just love it.
